Emily Boyd's Portfolio
Emily Boyd is a web designer based in St. Louis Missouri. She is an exceptional designer that has extensive skills in developing web sites that abide to web standards and that make use of advanced techniques such as CSS ASP, PHP, XHTML, and Adobe Suite of products.
I am currently working for a group of staffing companies. I am their lead web developer and marketer who is in charge of maintaining and updating their websites, designing print materials, Search Engine Optimization, as well as Marketing and maintaining the web server.
Kendall & Davis Physician Recruiters & Linde Healthcare Locum Tenens are my two main projects. My most recent project was Nursefinders Travel and was really interesting to launch a brand within a brand. I have also designed Nursefinders.com, The Linde Group's website and The Linde Group's recognition program. These sites all use CSS and XHTML as their main technologies as well some use ASP while others use JAVA. The recognition program was a fun assignment because I was able to help design the logos that would be stitched out on the clothing as well as use JavaScript and ASP for the order form.
I have also recently completed numerous freelance gigs. My most recent freelance project was helping a stay at home quickly do the graphic design for her Yahoo store front for her baby jewelry company called The Sassy Babe. I was disappointed be the limitations that the Yahoo Store presented but we were able to make it look good.
I am also the Vice President of Marketing for an audio visual design and documentation called Vector Sketch. I designed and programmed their website as well creating marketing materials such as brochures, business cards and convention booth. I have also completed a lot of business cards and corporate identities which can viewable from my portfolio.
